Worksheet to compliment lesson of same title. Students complete the tbale with the French phrases using the first letter of each word as a clue: JFDB = je fais du babysitting etc. They then have two questions to answer - tu as combien d'argent de poche? Que fais tu pour gagner de l'argent?

Nice starter or to wrap up. Students must identify all 6 parts of the verbs AVOIR and ETRE and put them in order. Then they must sort the infinitive verbs into groups; those that are used with AVOIR and those that are used with ETRE. Takes a bit of time to prepare but once you have the resources they can be used again and again.

Game to consolidate prepositions. Teacher hides a number of raffle tickets around the classroom and pupils must try to find them according to the clues. Can be made into a group game whereby groups of pupils compete to find a set number of tickets (in different places).

2 HANDOUTS to compliment lesson on food and drink items in French. First sheet could be used in intro lesson to see how many items students can recogniZe or could be used as a starter for the follow on lesson to see how many they can remember. Second habdout is picture based and students are to label items in French.

Nice starter handout activity. Students unjumble a series of sentences such as: Vivo en una casa grande en el campo. Extensions provided for more able: translate into English then re-write 2 of the sentences to a higher level.

Match up activity to compliment lesson - Mon Petit Déjeuner. Can be done as a group activity or individual activity. Students must try and translate as many of the breakfast items as possible having not seen these words before. Pictures at the bottom of the page to help students.
